Bit Newsgroups

This is a proprietary newgroup listing on "bit.*" newsgroups. You can send posted messages from a mailing list to a bit newsgroup.
Google Alerts

Google Alerts (in this example) scour's text newsgroups (albeit in only certain text groups) for keywords and then will email you the results. Make sure you set the type to "groups".
News 2 Mail

Receive messages from newsgroups by email. Pretty easy to use and very efficient. Subscribe to messages from newsgroups in the following formats:
- a new email for every new message
- One message per day will all news as an html file
- One message per day with all news as a zipped html file
Gmane

A mailing list archive for public mailing lists that basically dumps all mailing lists to gmane newsgroups based on subject.
